EQUIS
EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) is an accreditation system for higher education institutions in management and business administration, run by the European Foundation for Management Development. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ EQUIS has been designed to assess quality in the highly diverse environment of Europe's multiple education systems. The objective is not the standardisation of degree formats or course content. It accepts that each country has its own traditional approach to business education and therefore recognizes the strengths of different national systems. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The most prestigious European business schools will seek EQUIS accreditation, and as of 2005 87 institutions in 28 countries have been accredited. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
