Endicott, New York
Endicott is a village located in Broome County, New York, USA. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 13,038. The village is named after Henry B. Endicott, a shoe manufacturer, who founded the community as the "Home of the square deal."
History
Part of Endicott was originally incorporated as "Union Village" in 1892, but Endicott Village was consolidated with Union and named Endicott in 1921. Endicott is part of the "Triple Cities" along with Johnson City and Binghamton.

Endicott was the former site of "Tri-Cities College" of Syracuse University, which later became Harpur College, and then Binghamton University. The location of Binghamton University is in the Town of Vestal on Union's south border.
