Emmitsburg, Maryland

Emmitsburg is a town located in Frederick County, Maryland, just south of the Mason-Dixon line separating Maryland from Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 2,290. It is the home of Mount St. Mary's University.
