Emily Lloyd


 

Emily Lloyd (actually Emily Lloyd Pack) is a British actress born on 29 September 1970 to Roger Lloyd Pack and Sheila Ball in London. Lloyd comes from an actor's family: Roger Lloyd Pack is familiar as a stage actor and well known as Trigger in the British hit sitcom Only Fools and Horses, and Sheila Ball is a stage agent and was a longtime secretary at Harold Pinter's stage agency. Her grandfather Charles Lloyd Pack had appeared in movies like The Mirror crack'd, If, Three Worlds of Gulliver and Dracula.

Lost roles

In 1989 she received offers for movies like Mermaids by Richard Benjamin and Husbands and Wives by Woody Allen, but due to problems with Cher and Woody Allen she lost her roles to Winona Ryder and Juliette Lewis. A similar case was 1995 with the movie Tank Girl. Lloyd was previously scheduled for the leading-role but finally her part went to Lori Petty.

In 2004 she received a role in the British televison series Denial, the British counterpart to Sex and the City, but according to media reports this show was cancelled.
