Emilio Materassi (born 1898 ? died September 9, 1928) was an Italian Grand Prix motor racing driver.

Born in Florence, Italy, he competed in Italian hill climbing races then in circuit racing. His most important victories came in 1927 driving for Bugatti T35C when he won the Targa Florio and the Tripoli Grand Prix.

In June of 1928 he won the Grand Prix of Mugello driving a Talbot and finished second in the Coppa Acerbo in August then that same month he won his fourth Coppa Ciano at the Circuito del Montenero, beating both Tazio Nuvolari and Giuseppe Campari. At the 1928 Italian Grand Prix held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Materassi lost control on the 17th lap and was killed instantly when the car crashed into a grandstand. Twenty-seven spectators were also killed and a large number injured.
