Elizabeth Gunning
Elizabeth Gunning (~December 1733 - December 20, 1790) was a celebrated Irish belle and society hostess.

She was born in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, the younger sister of Maria Gunning. The two came to London together in 1751, and in the following year, Elizabeth married James Hamilton, 6th Duke of Hamilton. When the Duke died in 1758, she married John Campbell, later the 5th Duke of Argyll. In 1776, she became Baroness Hamilton in her own right.
