Electronic keyboard
An electronic keyboard is a keyboard instrument which uses electricity to produce or amplify its sound.

While synthesizers, samplers, electronic organs and many others use electricity, the term "electronic keyboard" is often used to refer to keyboard instruments made for the home market. These instruments are typically inexpensive, smaller, and lack many features offered by instruments which fall into one of the specific categories listed above.
