Edward Furlong

Edward Walter Furlong (born August 2, 1977) is an American actor. He was born in Glendale, near Burbank, California. He is also well-known supporter of animal rights. The son of Elenor Torres and an unknown father, he was raised by his uncle and aunt (Sean and Nancy Furlong). Furlong started his film career as John Connor on ', a role that earned him an MTV Movie Award for best breakthrough role and a Saturn Award for best young actor. He also starred in American History X and was featured in an Aerosmith music video for 'Living on the Edge'.

Furlong was discovered by the casting director of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, when Furlong was at the Pasadena Boys and Girls Club for the part of John Connor in that film.
