Edward Douglass White
Edward Douglass White (November 3, 1845 – May 19, 1921), American politician and jurist, was a United States Senator, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States and the ninth Chief Justice of the United States. He was best known for formulating the rule of reason standard of anti-trust law. Along with fellow Democrat Hugo Black, he is one of two Supreme Court justices known to have been members of the Ku Klux Klan.{{ref|klan}}
