Edinburgh Central
Edinburgh Central is a constituency represented in the Scottish Parliament. Until 2005, it was also a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. The area is now split between Edinburgh East, Edinburgh North and Leith, Edinburgh South West and Edinburgh West.

From 1925 until 1999 the Member of Parliament for Edinburgh Central was an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees of the National Library of Scotland. Since 1999, that role has been taken by the MSP for Edinburgh Central.
