Perhaps remembered best for her portrayals of an incompetent secretary in Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Lucille Tarlek in WKRP in Cincinnati, and the car rental agent whom Steve Martin berates in Planes, Trains & Automobiles. McClurg can be seen in nearly 90 movies and 55 TV episodes, most likely playing an middle-aged somewhat stubborn/idiotic woman. She began her career doing additional voices for The Jetsons and was recently in '. She also had a role in the late 1980s sitcom The Hogan Family.
