Edgerrin James

Edgerrin Tyree James (born August 1, 1978 in Immokalee, Florida) is an American football player who currently plays running back for the Indianapolis Colts of the NFL.

James was drafted by the Colts out of the University of Miami with the fourth pick in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft. After his first season in the NFL, James was named The NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press. He led the league in rushing his rookie season and his sophomore season. He currently is the record holder for most total yards of scrimmage per game in a regular season career.
