Edgartown is a town located on Martha's Vineyard in Dukes County, Massachusetts. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 3,779. It is the county seat of Dukes County6.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 317.9 km² (122.7 mi²). 69.9 km² (27.0 mi²) of it is land and 248.0 km² (95.8 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 78.01% water.
