Ed Fallon

Ed Fallon is currently serving his seventh term as a State Representative in the Iowa State Legislature from District 66, an area north of downtown in Des Moines, Iowa. He is a Democrat and an avid accordianist.

Fallon also founded One Thousand Friends of Iowa, a group promoting responsible land use.

Fallon is currently running for Governor of Iowa. Other Democrats seeking their party's nomination include Chet Culver, Patty Judge, and Mike Blouin.

Fallon is widely viewed as a progressive candidate and is running his gubernatorial campaign on issues such as campaign finance reform, controlling factory farms, lowering the cost of health insurance, increasing production and use of renewable energy, reorganizing the Iowa Department of Human Services, and creating sustainable economic development.
