East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

East Stroudsburg is a borough located in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, 32 miles (51 km) north of Easton. It is situated in a picturesque region at the foot of the Pocono Mountains. Its population has shown a slow, steady escalation of the numbers from 2,648 in 1900 to 3,330 in 1910 to 6,404 in 1940 to 9,888 in 2000, according to census reports.
