Earl of Ilay
The title of Earl of Ilay (or Islay) was created in the Peerage of Scotland in 1706 for Lord Archibald Campbell, younger brother to the Duke of Argyll. He succeeded his brother as Duke in 1743, and the title became extinct upon his death in 1761.
