DX

DX can refer to:

• a common telegraphic abbreviation that stood for a signal that travelled a very long distance. It is still used today in the field of radio, and is most frequently used in amateur radio circles.

• Yamaha's series of FM synthesizer products from the 1980s.
• an abbreviation for Deluxe
• a medical shorthand symbol for Diagnosis
• a model of the Honda Civic
• Microsoft's DirectX application programming interface collection, most commonly when refering to a specific version; i.e. DX9.0
• DX encoding, a standard for marking 35 mm and APS film cartridges so cameras can determine the film's speed and number of exposures.
• D-Generation X, a professional wrestling stable in World Wrestling Entertainment
