Durmitor

Durmitor is a mountain and the name of a national park in Montenegro. It reaches a height of 2,522 meters. Its name is said to derive from Celtic words meaning ?mountain with water.? Durmitor National Park, created in 1980, comprises the Mount Durmitor plateau and the valley formed by the canyon of the River Tara. It is the only natural World Heritage Site in the country.
