Duncan Hines
Duncan Hines (March 26, 1880 - March 15, 1959) was a U.S. food critic, born in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He wrote a syndicated newspaper column in the early 20th century entitled "Adventures in Good Eating" which highlighted restaurants and their featured dishes in cities and towns across America, taking advantage of the boom in travel interest, which had occurred primarily due to the popularization of the automobile and the associated development of the U.S. highway system.
