Duke of Portsmouth


 

The title Duke of Portsmouth was created in the Peerage of England in 1673 for Louise Renée de Penancoët de Kérouaille. The title, named after Portsmouth, became extinct upon her death in 1734. Her son (by King Charles II) became Charles Lennox, 1st Duke of Richmond and Lennox in 1675.
