Drug paraphernalia is any legitimate equipment, product, or material that is modified for making, using, or concealing illegal drugs such as cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and methamphetamine. Drug paraphernalia generally falls into two categories:

Counter Point

Many argue that Operation Pipe Dreams was yet another case of federal drug warriors operating with blatant disregard for the Constitution, as the retail stores were selling products labeled for tobacco use only. They argue that if it were illegal to sell tobacco pipes that can be used for marijuana use, then it would also be illegal to sell soft drink cans, light bulbs, and apples -- as all can be easily converted to smoking implements.
