Dream On
Dream On is a cult American adult situation comedy about Martin Tupper, a dreamer whose life is full of colourful characters.
Description
The show dealt with themes around him living in a New York apartment with his teenage son, and relating to his ex-wife, while trying to date and make it as an editor. The show was notable for its frequent use of clips from old movies to express Martin' inner life and feelings, which leant it much of its quirky appeal. The show is mainly significant however, for being the first sit-com to use cursing and nudity. This was possible becuase it was on a pay-cable channel, rather than free network TV.
