Draco Malfoy (born June 5, 1980{{fn|1}}) is a fictional character in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter books.

Draco first appears in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, and unfortunately for him, his attitude reminded Harry strongly of Dudley Dursley, Harry's stupid, bloated cousin. Their dislike for each other became official when Harry refused to accept Draco's offer for friendship : "You'll soon find out that some wizarding families are much better than others, Potter. You don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there. " They have been very bitter enemies since then.
