Doug Ault

Douglas Reagan Ault (March 9, 1950 - December 22, 2004) was a Major League Baseball first baseman/designated hitter who played for the Texas Rangers (1976) and Toronto Blue Jays (1977-78, 1980). He batted right handed and threw left handed.

Fact

• Ault was one of the rare non-pitchers in major league history who threw left handed but batted right handed. Other such players include Rickey Henderson, Chucho Ramos, Cleon Jones, Eddie Gaedel and David McCarty.
