Doorways in the Sand
Doorways in the Sand is a novel by author Roger Zelazny. It was originally published in serial form in the magazine Analog Science Fiction and Science Fact; the paperbound edition was published in 1976.
Style
The novel is unusual in that each chapter ends with a cliffhanger, while the next chapter starts in the middle of some other action, then moves back to resolve the cliffhanger and continue forward. It is a unique style of storytelling that sets this work apart from many science fiction novels.
