Dominican University of California

Dominican University is a small liberal arts university in San Rafael, California. Dominican is most known for its undergraduate and graduate-level Nursing, Psychology, and Teaching programs; as well as its MBA programs. It offers an MBA-SL in Strategic Leadership as well as an MBA-GSM in Global Strategic Management.

Prior to a name change to Dominican University of California in 2000, the university was known as Dominican College of San Rafael. The local highway sign directing people to the school was subsequently covered up to make the name Dominican University after complaints that the private school was implying an association between itself and the highly-ranked public University of California.
