DJ Mark the 45 King
DJ Mark the 45 King (born Mark James), also known as the 45 King tout court, was one of the most important hip hop producers of the early nineties, working together with Queen Latifah, Lakim Shabbazz, Chill Rob G and others. His own track "The 900 Number" was used by DJ Kool for his hit "Let Me Clear My Throat". The 45 King was a member of Queen Latifah's posse, the Flavor Unit, and their in-house producer. More recently, he produced Eminem's hit record, "Stan", as well as Jay Z's "Hard Knock Life".
