Diwan-e Shams-e Tabriz-i
Divan-i Kabir, Diwan-e Shams-e Tabriz-i or Diwan i Shams is Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi's masterpiece in the Persian (Dari) language, a collection of poems that contains more than 40,000 verses. Divan-i Kabir contains Rumi's poems in several different styles of Eastern-Islamic poetry (e.g. odes, eulogies, quatrains, etc). Although most of the poems are in Persian, there are also Arabic and Turkish poems. Diwan-e Shams-e Tabriz-i is named in honour of Rumi's spiritual teacher and friend Shams Tabraiz.
