Disco Pigs
Disco Pigs was a play written by Enda Walsh. It was adapted into a film in 2001. The film was directed by Kirsten Sheridan; the daughter of filmmaker Jim Sheridan. The film adaptation starred Cillian Murphy and Elaine Cassidy.

The film/ play revolves around the intense relationship of the two teenage protagonists; nicknamed "Pig" and "Runt". Pig and Runt have a very close relationship. Pig is very protective of Runt and assaults anyone at the local discothèque who flirts with her. As Pig and Runt become closer, Runt's parents decide it would be better if she stopped seeing Pig. They send her off to boarding school. Pig is crushed by this and decides to track down Runt and make her his again.
