Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge is an Indian blockbuster movie (released in October 1995. This movie, made by Aditya Chopra stars Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, and Amrish Puri. It was one of the first Bollywood movies to feature Indians living outside India (non-resident Indians).

As of May 2005, the movie has made the record books by completing 500 weeks of continuous play in a Mumbai movie theatre. It is also notable as one of the first Bollywood films to film on location in Switzerland.

The movie was included in the Cinema India showcase, "The Changing Face of Indian Cinema", which toured the United States in July and August of 2004. Film critic Charles Taylor of Salon.com wrote:
