Digitiser
Digitiser (not to be confused with a digitizer) was a video games magazine that was broadcast on the Teletext service on Channel 4 in the UK from 1993 to 2003, and (most of the time) updated daily. During those ten years, it gained a cult following of 1.5 million readers due to its constant use of surreal humour, often risque and pythonesque. It is also worth noting that the magazine attracted much criticism, both from the Teletext sub-editors, who viewed the writers as troublemakers, and from various groups (in particular, Amiga owners) who were unhappy with a certain comment or review. However, there was also a large number of readers who praised Digitiser for its fair and unbiased judgements. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
