Dicyclopentadiene
Dicyclopentadiene, C10H12, is a hydrocarbon found in oil deposits. It is a clear and colorless liquid at room temperature.

When heated above 100ºC, dicyclopentadiene converts, or "cracks" to give cyclopentadiene. Cyclopentadiene is important to both organic and inorganic chemistry.1
