Dick Wilson ( b July 30, 1916) is an American actor who played the role of Mr. Whipple in Charmin toilet paper commercials (1965-1989, 1999) and made 16 or 17 appearances as several characters on the television sit-com Bewitched, usually as the drunk, but sometimes a neighbor or other stock character (various episodes between #33 and #247).

On a visit to The Tonight Show, he was asked, "How do you feel about toilet paper?" His answer was, "I'm in favor of it. I think everyone should use it!"
