Dick Shawn
Dick Shawn (Born Richard Schulefand on December 1, 1923, died April 17, 1987) was an American born actor and comedian He is best remembered for his roles as Sylvester Marcus, bohemian beach bum son of Mrs. Marcus (Ethel Merman), in Stanley Kramer's It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, and as Lorenzo St. DuBois (known by his initials L.S.D.), the flower power hippie who lands the role of Adolf Hitler in the musical Springtime for Hitler, the play within the movie, The Producers. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
