Diana Muldaur

Diana Muldaur (born August 19, 1938 in New York, New York), is an American television actress. She is best known for playing Rosalind Shays (the litigator who plummeted to her death down an empty elevator shaft in a famous 1991 episode) on L.A. Law and Dr. Katherine Pulaski in the second season of '. She was also a guest star in two episodes of the original ; only about 30 actors have appeared in two generations of the franchise.

A graduate of Sweet Briar College, Muldaur was at one point a board member of the Screen Actors Guild and later the president of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She has been married twice, first to James Vickery from 1969 until his death in 1979, then to Robert Dozier in 1981.
