Diablo Range
The Diablo Range is a large group of mountain chains and ranges in western California. It is sandwiched by the Pacific Ocean to the west and by the Central Valley to the east. The range was named after Mount Diablo, which is usually considered to be its northernmost mountain.

The Diablo Range generally has a chaparral environment. Its highest point is San Benito Mountain in the remote eastern section of the range.
