Descolada

Descolada is the virus in the Ender's Game series that is quarantined on the planet Lusitania. This virus is extremely adaptable and could wipe out the human race if it gets off the planet. In the book a fleet is sent to destroy Lusitania to save humanity.

Descolada is also the portuguese for "unglued" (and in Brazil an old '80 slang for cool). The unglued in the context of the book refers to fact that is breaks the link of the DNA double helix (ungluing it)
