Derry is a town located in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 34,021.

Derry Cooperative School District consists of five elementary schools (grades1-5) and two middle schools (grades 6-8). The elementary schools are: Barka Elementary School (opening in September 2005), Derry Village School, East Derry Memorial Elementary School, Grinnell Elementary School, South Range Elementary School. The middle schools are: Gilbert H. Hood Middle School, West Running Brook Middle School.
