Delta Goodrem

Delta Lea Goodrem (born in Sydney on November 9, 1984) is an Australian musician, singer and actress, who started her career as Nina Tucker on the television soap opera Neighbours. She has released two number one albums, "Innocent Eyes" and "Mistaken Identity," and had 7 number one singles in Australia.

The O.C. and Beyond

In a bid to get (as Goodrem calls it) "world domination", Columbia lined up an impressive trail of promotion, all coinciding with Goodrem's release of Born To Try.

However, it is not to say that Columbia have been acting alone. Many of Goodrem's "supportive" fans have attempted to promote Letterman Show and Jay Leno) to host Delta Goodrem for performances and featurettes.

Goodrem was also approached by producers from the telvision show The O.C. to appear as a guest star. According to The O.C. camp, Goodrem willingly agreed to appear on the show, and writers have come up with a character for her. It is said that Goodrem will appear on the show as Marissa's estranged Australian cousin.

Early on in Goodrem's American promotions, she appeared on the show, North Shore, as a famous celebrity. Using that opportunity, Goodrem performed several musical items; which consequently sparked American interest in the singer-songwriter.

Also in a bid to help with her US release of Born To Try, Delta will be appearing on The O.C. and now Lost. But Delta has told media she will be one fo the survivors on the Island on Lost.
