Decca tree
The Decca tree is a stereo main microphone recording system for big orchestras. It is a sort of AB recording with a center fill. It is the most commonly used spaced-pair technique. This was developed 1954 by Arthur Haddy and Kenneth Wilkinson to allow the use of three omnidirectional microphones of the type Neumann M50 to record in stereo.
