Dawn Butler

Brent South Constituency Labour Party selected her in March 2005 to replace Paul Boateng, who planned to become British High Commissioner to South Africa. A black woman, her selection helped ensure that Labour increased its black and minority ethnic parliamentary representation. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
