Dawn Butler
Dawn Petula Butler is a British trade union official and politician. She is the Labour Member of Parliament for Brent South, first elected in the May 2005 general election.

Butler previously worked as an officer of the GMB trade union. Brent South Constituency Labour Party selected her in March 2005 to replace Paul Boateng, who planned to become British High Commissioner to South Africa. A black woman, her selection helped ensure that Labour increased its black and minority ethnic parliamentary representation.
