Davy Medal
The Davy Medal is a bronze medal that has been awarded annually by the Royal Society in London since 1887. It's recipient receives the medal "for an outstandingly important recent discovery in any branch of chemistry." The award is named after Humphry Davy, the 19th century chemist.
