Daviess County, Missouri
Daviess County is a county located in the state of Missouri. As of 2000, the population is 8,016. Its county seat is Gallatin6. The county was organized in 1836 and is named after Col. Joseph H. Daviess of Kentucky, who fell in 1811 at the Battle of Tippecanoe.
