David Scarboro
David Scarboro (February 3 1968 - April 27 1988) was a British actor who appeared in the school drama series Grange Hill, but was best known for portraying Mark Fowler in the popular British soap opera EastEnders at its inception in 1985. The actor did not respond well to the sudden fame the role brought him, and after lateness and being judged to be un-cooperative on set, he was abruptly fired from the show. In the storyline his family awoke one morning to discover that Mark had done a bunk and unexpectedly left home during the night.
