David Palmer (character)
David Palmer is a fictional character played by Dennis Haysbert as part of the television series, 24. He is the first African-American president of the United States.
Future
It was announced that the characters of David Palmer along with Mike Novick and Michelle Dessler would all be appearing in at least the first episode of season 5 implying that one of them (or possibly all three) will be killed in the episode. However, Palmer seems to be most likely due to Haysbert's involvement in the new CBS drama The Unit premiering in early 2006.
