David Leavitt
David Leavitt is a writer. A graduate of Yale University, he is the author of Equal Affections, The Page Turner, Martin Bauman, or A Sure Thing, The Lost Language of Cranes, While England Sleeps, The Body of Jonah Boyd, and numerous short stories. He is an English professor at the University of Florida, where he directs the graduate creative writing program. Leavitt is gay.
