~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ David Freiberg was born in Boston and founded Quicksilver Messenger Service with John Cippolina. David was in his late twenties by the time Quicksilver rose to prominence. He began as a coffee house folk musician and for a while shared a house in Venice, CA. with other future folk-rockers David Crosby and Paul Kantner. In 1972 David joined Jefferson Airplane. The band eventually evolved into Jefferson Starship. David is married to singer Linda Imperial. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
