David Benioff
David Benioff (born circa 1970 in New York City) worked as club bouncer, till he won recognition for his book, 25th Hour. He later adapted the book into a film, starring Edward Norton and directed by Spike Lee. Thus began his career as a Hollywood screenwriter. He wrote the mythological epic, Troy (2004). He also sold the two-million-dollar script, Stay. The film is currently in production, helmed by Marc Forster and starring Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts.
