Darwin Medal
The Darwin Medal is given by the Royal Society on even years to a biologist or a husband and wife team of biologists. The award is given for "work of acknowledged distinction in the broad area of biology in which Charles Darwin worked." http://www.royalsoc.ac.uk/awards/medals/
