Darlington, South Carolina
Darlington is a city located in Darlington County, in northeastern South Carolina, and is a center for tobacco farming. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 6,720. It is the county seat of Darlington County{{GR|6}}. Darlington is best known for its superspeedway, site of an annual NASCAR race. Darlington is also the site of the National Motorsports Press Association (NMPA) Hall of Fame.
